RSM types

These RSM are intended for use only by trained personnel, after an assessment of the type and condition of the equipment being treated.


The required amount of RSM is calculated individually for each mechanism based on the recommended quantity of RSM per 1 liter of oil. After measuring the mechanism’s parameters, the expert may increase or decrease the RSM concentration, as well as adjust the method of application (dividing the dose into parts and modifying the intervals between applications).

DSS Solutions for Experts
  • Type 0-1

    For preventive maintenance of fine mechanical systems and precision assemblies, including harmonic drives, sensor gear mechanisms, control units, gas and fuel distributors, and similar components.

    Recommended dosage:

    2 ml per 1 liter of oil.

  • Type 0-2

    For repair and restoration of fine mechanical systems and precision assemblies, including harmonic drives, sensor gear mechanisms, control units, gas and fuel distributors, and similar components.

    Recommended dosage:

    2 ml per 1 liter of oil.

  • Type 1-1

    For preventive maintenance of sliding and rolling mechanisms and transmissions, including bearings, gear, chain, and worm drives, gearboxes, mechanical transmissions, and similar systems.

    Recommended dosage:

    4 ml per 1 liter of oil.

  • Type 1-2

    For repair and restoration of sliding and rolling mechanisms and transmissions, including bearings, gear, chain, and worm drives, gearboxes, mechanical transmissions, and similar systems.

    Recommended dosage:

    3 ml per 1 liter of oil.

  • Type 1-4

    For repair and restoration of heavily worn sliding and rolling mechanisms and transmissions, including bearings, gear, chain, and worm drives, gearboxes, mechanical transmissions, and similar systems.

    Recommended dosage:

    1.5 ml per 1 liter of oil.

  • Type 2-1

    For preventive maintenance of heavily loaded sliding and rolling mechanisms and transmissions, including bearings, gear, chain, and worm drives, gearboxes, mechanical transmissions, and similar systems.

    Recommended dosage:

    4 ml per 1 liter of oil.

  • Type 2-2

    For repair and restoration of worn, heavily loaded sliding and rolling mechanisms and transmissions, including bearings, gear, chain, and worm drives, gearboxes, mechanical transmissions, and similar systems.

    Recommended dosage:

    3 ml per 1 liter of oil.

  • Type 2-4

    For repair and restoration of heavily worn, heavily loaded sliding and rolling mechanisms and transmissions, including bearings, gear, chain, and worm drives, gearboxes, mechanical transmissions, and similar systems.

    Recommended dosage:

    1.5 ml per 1 liter of oil.

  • Type 3-1

    For preventive maintenance and repair of heavily loaded transmissions, including gear, chain, and worm drives, as well as gear reducers.

    Recommended dosage:

    6 ml per 1 liter of oil.

  • Type 3-2

    For preventive maintenance and repair of heavily loaded transmissions operating outdoors, including gear, chain, and worm drives, gear reducers, and similar systems.

    Recommended dosage:

    3 ml per 1 liter of oil.

  • Type 3-4

    For sliding surfaces such as guides, support surfaces, roller conveyors, rails, and coordinate tables.

    Recommended dosage:

    1.5 ml per 1 liter of oil.
